- I add worcestershire sauce and a bit of curry add it to suit your taste you are right.... it does need an extra kick of flavour !!
- add soya sauce to the gravy to make it nice or try putting cheese on top of the mash and browning it in the oven
- i like Worcestershire and roasted garlic.all you do is coat your whole garlic bulb in olive oil and wrap in foil and bake in a 250 degree oven for 20 minutes.let cool and squeeze all the garlic out
- lea and perrins and a few dashes of red wine
- I cook my shepherds pie with cream corn in it and salt & pepper and onions with spices of your choice topped with creamy potatoes yummy

- A matching stock cube (lamb for shepherds pie or beef for cottage pie), red wine, Worcestershire sauce, finely chopped mushrooms, grated carrot, appropriate herbs (mint for a shepherds pie, parsley for a cottage pie).
- Worcester Sauce in the meat, and cheese in the mashed potato topping.
- A shepherd
- I like to keep my shepherds pie simple but I do add garlic and chopped celery leaves for a bit of extra flavour. I sometimes add some wine.
- Worcestershire sauce or a good squeeze of HP.
- try some grated fresh root ginger~a table spoon full~makes it warm and spicy not chili hot.
- Worcester Sauce or a drop of red wine

- I like to add oxo cubes,a splash of worcestershire sauce and mushrooms...and I top it with cheesy mash..Yum-Yum :-)
- Have tried various things: frozen peas - add a touch of sweetness or/and sweetcorn; a little tomatoe puree; of course various brand stock cubes; have topped with cheese and with dif flavored crisps i.e. cheese and onion, beef & inion and plain crisps; have also added a tine of baked beans to the meat... Shepherds Pie is a bit like soup making it's an art form not a precise science. Some other great ideas here. Happy cooking and eating!
- A bit of cheese in the potato and tobasco sauce!
- Rosemary? Garlic? Oregano? Chopped Tomatoes?
- tomato puree and blk pepper and chopped celery.
- I just prepare my usual savoury mince. Fry off onions and diced carrots, brown the mince, pour into a pan with 2 beef stock cubes and enough water to cover. Bring to the boil, then simmer gently for 50 mins, stirring occasionally. Add Bisto to the mince and stir for a few minutes.
- Onion, diced carrots, lean mince, peas and then i thicken it with 'AAAHHH Bisto' always tastes good.:)
- my mum used to use everything from an oxo cube to gravy granuels to curry powder to flavour it
- Half a teaspoon of Cinnamon.
