Does anyone know how to make an apple pie like this one? The apple pie was served at a dinner party and the host wouldn't give up her recipe. It was on a dough crust and consisted of thinly sliced apples, about nine layers, and was sugary in texture as there was no 'sauce' like what you see with baked apply pies. How do you bake apples to be 'dry' but still moist and layered with what? Topped with Cinnamin ice-cream, it was DELICIOUS!
