Pecan pie recipe with cream & pecans throughout? Years ago I had a recipe for pecan pie with pecans throughout the pie NOT just on top. I've lost the recipe & all my older relatives have passed on. All I remember is that it was a basic recipe with bourbon & cream. Please help. Thanks to everyone who has answered so far, but this recipe calls for cream IN the filling. The nuts are toasted & the filling is poured over them so they don't float to the top. It (the recipe) was also featured in the NY Daily news many, many years ago but they don't archive that far back.

How long do you bake 2 pecan pies? The recipe states to bake 1 pie for 55-60 min at 350.? I put in the oven at 350 degrees. Will I need to bake longer since I am baking two at once. The recipe came from the back of the Karo Corn Syrup bottle. I am baking the pies in a conventional gas oven not a convection oven.

I went to the liquor store today and all they had in the tiny bottles was Jack Daniels whiskey. Will it make a difference in my pie if it's not bourbon?
